Team Lead Order Management (m/w/d)

Your main tasks

  • Disciplinary and professional management as well as further development of employees in the areas of materials planning and procurement logistics
  • Responsibility for material requirements planning, delivery schedule and order scheduling as well as procurement logistics to ensure material supply at the Aachen site
  • Planning of short-, medium- and long-term material requirements for production at the Aachen site on the basis of the coordinated production program
  • Evaluation of requirements planning and conversion into inventory- and availability-optimized order planning, delivery scheduling and call-offs for suppliers
  • Weekly/monthly preparation of rolling delivery forecasts for suppliers
  • Supplier communication regarding material call-off planning in cooperation with Purchasing and Quality
  • Communication with the supplier to avoid delivery bottlenecks
  • Handling of complaints due to quantity or schedule deviations of planned deliveries
  • Responsible for the maintenance of the disposition-related master data
  • Creation of process descriptions and work instructions for material requirements planning
  • Analysis and evaluation of material supply planning with regard to performance, financial requirements, transport costs, etc.
  • Introduction of an EDI interface for the transmission of information to our suppliers
  • Monitoring of the supply chain and reporting based on standardized KPIs

Your profile

  • Completed (technical) university studies in a business-related field or commercial education
  • At least 5 years of relevant professional experience
  • Experience in managing employees
  • Motivating leadership personality with hands-on mentality
  • Goal-oriented and independent way of working as well as self-initiative
  • Knowledge of methods and high level of commitment
  • Very good MS-Office skills, extensive experience with ERP systems
  • Very good knowledge of German and English
  • Forklift driving licence and willingness to work shifts
