Your main tasks

  • Responsibility for service engineering and the further development and implementation of the service engineering strategy.
  • Management of all service engineering activities over the entire service cycle such as product development/serviceability, approval, field monitoring (product improvements, recalls...), warranty/guarantee, operation, vehicle return and disposal
  • Definition of a vehicle-oriented service technology service offering taking into account the competitive environment
  • Support for IT systems related to service technology (incl. diagnostic systems)
  • Technical editing, content management and publications
  • Creation and further development of the (S-)BOM and technical aspects of spare parts supply
  • Internal coordination and alignment of service engineering activities, especially with purchasing, development and quality departments
  • Continuous optimization of processes and procedures in the area of service engineering
  • Provision of management reports for quality control
  • Management of the service engineering team at HQ, technical support of international service units and service partners

Your profile

  • Successfully completed studies in the field of engineering or comparable technical qualification (e.g. technician's degree)
  • Several years of professional experience in engineering and technical services in the OEM environment
  • High-voltage qualification, ideally HV-3
  • Strong knowledge of product development, approval requirements, technical service quality, warranty, diagnostics 
  • Experience in setting up and managing international service engineering structures
  • Extensive knowledge in the development and implementation of aftermarket strategies desirable
  • Authentic team player with perseverance, high customer orientation and strong communication skills on different levels
  • Structured and self-organized way of working, analytical thinking skills
  • Sound management experience of international teams
  • Business fluent in written and spoken German and English 
  • Willingness to travel internationally
