Your main tasks

Definition and interpretation of vehicle characteristics in relation to dynamic performance. Control of technical issues at system level.
Coordination, testing and evaluation of concepts in development: longitudinal, vertical and lateral dynamics, taking into account the stability system (ABS /ESC).
Synchronisation of project milestones at operational level with the corporate divisions Purchasing, Quality, Production, lndust-rial Engineering, Homologation, Testing
Technical concept development and reporting to the team leader regarding design decisions incl. the creation of decision templates
Kinematics design incl. component specification on system level (chassis; steering; brakes; axles; etc.) with regard to operational stability, driving dynamics and further requirements or restrictions from the context of the overall vehicle project management
Reporting of the development progress to the executive, as well as milestone reporting and preparation of release recommendations incl. documentation
Responsibility for component release for prototypes, sample and series production with regard to functionality, quality, approval conformity and industrialisation capability.
Collaboration on strategic technology and supplier decisions and benchmarking

Your profile

Successfully completed studies with a focus on mechanical engineering, automotive engineering or a comparable technical oriented education
Professional experience in the automotive environment is advantageous
Sound knowledge of common CAD, FEM, MKS and PLM systems, ideally PTC Creo, PTC Windchill, MS Office, ADAMS Car, CarSim and Ansys
Ability to work independently, flexibility, teamwork and communication skills
Confident, friendly manner and a high level of communication and teamwork skills
Good written and spoken German and English
