This is what you achieve...

  • Independent control, coordination and implementation of development tasks in diagnostics (focus on flash concepts, OTX, vehicle configuration and diagnostic architecture)
  • Specification and development of functions/processes as well as their further development according to new requirements
  • Determination and definition of requirements from different departments and project contact partners
  • Residual bus simulations and programming of development tools for prototype commissioning
  • Interface work between the various development areas and the production and after-sales areas
  • Carrying out system and integration tests in the complete vehicle

This is what you bring...

  • Successfully completed degree in electrical engineering, preferably with a focus on vehicle technology / electrical vehicle systems, communications engineering or similar.
  • At least 1-2 years of relevant professional experience
  • Experience in the electronic and mechatronic design of modern passenger cars
  • Basic knowledge of common automotive bus systems (e.g. CAN, LIN, MOST or FlexRay)
  • Terms such as ODX, OTX, KWP, UDS and OBD-II are not foreign to you
  • Ideally experience in handling and programming (CAPL) of vector tools (CANoe, CANape, CANalyzer)
  • Independent work, ability to work in a team, independent problem identification and solution, committed approach to work
  • The possibility of participating in up to two-week test drives in Europe and possibly Asia is required
  • Very good German and good English skills
