Homologation Expert (m/f/d) with focus on Recyclability/Sustainability

Your main tasks

Identification of current and future homologation requirements with regard to recyclability/sustainability for battery electric vehicles (BEV) of class M1 (passenger cars).
Creation of an interface to the internal quality department within the scope of the sampling process
Verification and evaluation of material data in the International Material Data System (DXC IMDS)
Calculation of recyclability and recoverability rates for complete vehicles
Creation and maintenance of description documents within the scope of homologation projects

Your profile

Successfully completed studies (Bachelor's/Master's/Diploma), preferably in the fields of automotive engineering, chemical engineering or comparable.
At least 3 years of position-relevant professional experience, preferably in homologation at a vehicle manufacturer or at a technical service (TÜV, DEKRA, etc.)
In-depth understanding of relevant EU legislation and ISO standards in the field of Recyclability/Sustainability: e.g. 2005/64/EC (Recyclability), 2000/53/EC (End-of-Life), (EC) 1907/2006 (REACH), 2011/65/EU (RoHs), 2012/19/EU (WEEE)), ISO 22628:2002, etc.
Experience in project management, project timing, and project documentation
Analysis and evaluation skills with regard to homologation-relevant issues
Ability and willingness to familiarise yourself quickly with new areas of responsibility
High level of understanding for complex technical contexts
Ability to work in a team and independently in a solution-oriented manner
Experienced handling of common material data systems (e.g. DXC IMDS/DXC IMDS-A2)
Experienced handling of common office applications (especially Teams/Outlook/Excel/Word/Powerpoint)
Experienced with database/PLM/ERP systems (e.g. NTT CERTassist/PTC Windchill/PSIpenta)
Very good knowledge of written and spoken German and English
Willingness to travel occasionally
