System Engineer Infotainment (m/f/d)

Your main tasks

  • Component responsibility for the infotainment system and instrument cluster for concept development up to series production readiness
  • Overall project management for the development of the Multimedia System Next Generation
  • Responsible for defining and specifying the requirements in cooperation with the stakeholders in the specification sheet
  • Project coordination and prioritization with suppliers as well as internal and external interface partners within the scope of the development of the instrument cluster and multimedia system
  • Determining the acceptance criteria of the individual sample phases and the binding sprint planning up to the acceptance with the supplier
  • Responsibility for the quality of Jira tickets as well as for backlog refinement
  • Support for the development and programming of the display and operating concept for the instrument cluster and the multimedia system
  • Construction and commissioning of prototypes and test vehicles with corresponding validation of the concepts and vehicle functions
  • Support of the process audit at the supplier as well as approvals of vehicle functions at the TÜV within the scope of the component responsibility
  • Several years of professional experience in responsible positions in the automotive or consumer electronics industry with project management experience and/or leadership experience

Your profile

  • Successfully completed degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or similar.
  • At least 3-5 years of professional experience - Ideally previous knowledge in the area of project management, supplier handling, component development in the automotive industry
  • Ideally previous knowledge in the area of infotainment systems
  • Ideally previous knowledge in the area of development of software hardware architectures of control units
  • Ideally previous knowledge in the area of maturity determination in development
  • Ideally experience in the area of Automotive SPICE as well as profound knowledge in incremental development using agile methods
  • Ideally programming skills, C, Python, Matlab, or similar; Vector automotive tools, CANoe, PreeVision
  • Willingness to perform, ability to work in a team, enthusiastic, structured and solution-oriented.
  • Very good knowledge of German and English
