e.GO Mobile brings its innovative electric vehicle e.GO Life to Greece

Athens, October 6th, 2021 – Next.e.GO Mobile SE, German Independent Electric Vehicle manufacturer, presented its innovative and uniquely designed e.GO Life electric vehicle in an exclusive event in Athens. During the event, e.GO Mobile announced that the Greek customers will soon be able to pre-order the vehicles from the German factory, which is already in production, and are expected to be delivered by the end of 2022.

The company also announced that besides the production in Greece, it plans to establish a global Customer Experience Centre and R&D for battery and hot climate impact research in the country. Meanwhile, the company is already setting up its sales and service infrastructure to support its expansion in Greece.

Attendees had the opportunity to see the car and learn about a truly disruptive concept: e.GO Life, the sustainable and durable, next generation urban electric vehicle. Born 3D and electric, the e.GO Life is a perfect combination of ideal city fit, durability and holistic sustainability. The robust aluminium spaceframe and the highly durable polymeric outer-body, give the e.GO Life a superior crash safety, significant longer life cycle and lower total cost of ownership.

Behind the car’s design is the legendary Italian designer family, Spada, known of some of the most iconic designs over several decades. With spacious 4 seats, higher view and a smart battery design, e.GO Life has a city range of up to 220km and a top speed of 122km/h. It can be charged at a regular socket without the need to any special infrastructure or with a standard 11kW wall box in 2 hours in a sustainable and economic way.

Prof. Dr. Ulrich Hermann, Member of the Board of Next.e.GO Mobile SE, who presented a comprehensive overview of the car and its disruptive micro factory production concept commented: “We are extremely happy to start our journey in Greece, present an electric city car like no other that is a perfect fit for the Greek market and its vibrant life style, helping the country to achieve its emission free and sustainability goals.”

e.GO is planning a Road Show in Greece soon, which will include car exhibitions and activations in several key locations in Athens, were locals and tourists will have the opportunity to see the car, do a test-drive and pre-order it.
